Hello, everyone.
Last year I was struck by a powerful urge to make an RPG Maker game. I used to love the RM2K software when I was younger so I got MZ and started working on a project. After months of searching for the plugins I'd need to make a game with the basic features I wanted for my game, I noticed an announcement on the RPG Maker discord which mentioned something called RPG Architect -- it was described as RPG Maker but designed sensibly. I checked it out and was immediately intrigued. The more I learned, the more excited I got.
Now I'm here and you're stuck with me. I truly sympathise.
If there's anything that's going to annoy you about me, its that I am very non-technically minded. I can't code and I'll never be able to, I think I'm dyslexic or something. If I ask you for help, I probably won't understand your answer first time. This will happen, so I apologise in advance. There's one possible upside to this: if I can understand a help file, guide or tutorial that means it is extremely clear and accessible to almost anyone. Think of me as the canary down the idiot mines (analogies are not my strong suit either).
I've been learning some basic pixel art skills since last year and somewhere down the road I'd like to try the same with writing music. This community is great and I've already received some much needed feedback on my sprite work. I can't wait to see where things go for RPG Architect from here.
Love from Wales, UK.
